Caroline Geoffroy launched Épicerie Tahiti in January 2019. Inspired by her travels and her commitment to health , she wanted to create a space where consumers could shop in a store that prioritizes food that respects living organisms . The store offers more than 800 different products. While food and dietary supplements occupy a large part of the store , household and personal care products are also available.

Tahiti Grocery is a space where some products are sold without packaging . This is why customers are encouraged to bring their own containers , such as glass jars , glass bottles , or reusable bags . This concept helps reduce plastic waste. But Caroline Geoffroy and her team primarily work to raise consumer awareness about the importance of food quality for their health . Having seen so many people suffering from diet-related illnesses in her first career as a nurse, she decided to apply the well-known adage, " Prevention is better than cure," to her customers every day . Location and opening days

The shop is located at the bottom of the Vainui residence , at kilometer marker 13.3 on the Punaauia ring road . Caroline welcomes and advises customers Monday afternoon , Tuesday , Wednesday , Thursday , and Friday , as well as Saturday morning . The shop is easily accessible from Papeete and other neighboring towns. Reserved parking spaces allow customers to park in front of the shop.
