Hinaupoko DEVEZE, elected Miss Tahiti 2025 then crowned Miss France 2026, embodies the beauty, the elegance and the cultural diversity of French Polynesia. Just 23 yearsShe has established herself as an emblematic figure, succeeding Angelique Angarni-Filopon and becoming the fifth Miss Tahiti won the prestigious national crown. Before her, Marie Moua TAPIARE (1967 which refused his title because she was under contract with a dance troupe), Edna TEPAVA (1974) Thilda FULER (1980 but this last one will renounce his crown 3 days after his coronation), Mareva GEORGES (1991) Mareva GALANTER (1999) et Vaimalama Chaves (2019) had already obtained the highly coveted prize. 

Origins and background

Born on March 17, 2002, in Papeete to a Marquesan mother (from Ua Pou) and a father from mainland France , Hinaupoko (meaning Great Goddess) Deveze spent much of her youth in Pompignan , in the Gard department of southern France . But after 15 years in mainland France, the new beauty queen, deeply attached to her roots , decided to return to her homeland. Today, she proudly represents her island and regularly emphasizes the importance of Polynesian culture in her identity. She describes her crowning as a collective victory , and it is indeed experienced as such by Polynesians, recalling the crowning of Vaimalama Chaves in 2019.

Education and Training

Hinaupoko DEVEZE holds a degree in psychology , a field that reflects her interest in understanding human nature and social relationships . Indeed, her studies have allowed her to develop an empathetic and analytical approach , qualities that enrich her role as Miss France and strengthen her commitment to the public.

During the grand finale on December 6, 2025, Hinaupoko DEVEZE captivated the jury and the public. After being called in the Top 12 and then the Top 5, she finally won the crown, sparking immense emotion in Polynesia and France.
