Do you dream of exploring the beautiful island of Tahiti? It's possible with TiTi's Tahiti Tour. The beginning of the day
We will depart around 7:00 AM. I will gladly pick you up from your accommodation, and we will then head towards the peninsula along the west coast . Our first stop will be at the Tamanu shopping center in Punaauia to buy drinks , sandwiches , and all sorts of groceries to ensure we don't go hungry during this day, which is sure to be one you'll remember . A cooler will be provided for storage . For lunch, there is also the option of having it at the restaurant on Maui Beach . You will then have to choose between the sandwiches at the Taravao Lookout or the restaurant located on the beach in Vaiarao.
Breakfast on the beach at PK 18
Armed with croissants , pain au chocolat , and other pastries , it will only take us 5 minutes to reach Vaiava beach . Also known as PK 18 beach, we'll have breakfast there, in the shade, with the stunning Moorea as our backdrop.
The Arahurahu marae
We will then take the road to reach the Arahurahu marae in Paea , an archaeological site that allows you to immerse yourself in the ancestral culture and religion of the Polynesians before the arrival of Europeans.
Mara'a Caves, Papara Market and Taharu'u Beach
After a refreshing stop at the famous Mara'a caves , we'll head to the small market in Papara . Less crowded than its larger counterpart in Papeete, it's nonetheless an authentic and welcoming place to pick up some lovely souvenirs of paradise on earth. The Papara surf spot, with its stunning black sand beach , will be our next stop.
Vaima's source
The Vaima spring in Papeari is a freshwater gush nestled at the foot of the mountain, where the water forms a small, clear , and refreshing pool . Once frequented for filling jerrycans or simply soaking, it remains today a peaceful and authentic haven , surrounded by greenery, evoking everyday Tahiti and the deep connection the inhabitants have with their natural springs.
The Vaipahi Water Garden
The Vaipahi Water Garden in Mataiea is a small haven of coolness where Tahitian nature reveals itself in its finest. Between crystal-clear pools , discreet waterfalls , lush ferns , and perfectly maintained paths , the place offers a zen-like escape from the noise of the road. You walk in the shade, breathe more easily, and let yourself be carried away by the soothing atmosphere.
It's an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll , some tropical photos , or simply to enjoy a moment of peace amidst lush vegetation. Accessible, clean, and relaxing, it's a must-see for discovering Tahiti's natural beauty.
The Taravao Plateau
From there, we'll ascend to the heights of the Taravao plateau , at an altitude of 550 meters , to discover an extraordinary view of the isthmus connecting Tahiti Iti and Tahiti Nui. If you've chosen the picnic lunch option, we'll enjoy the unique panorama while sharing a meal together. And if you've opted for the Maui Beach restaurant , it will take us 15 minutes to get there.
The Teahupoo Wave
And since we're on the subject of surfing, how can you resist the allure of the Teahupoo wave, where the surfing events for the 2024 Olympic Games were just held, culminating in the crowning of local champion Kauli Vaast ? The site is pristine and stunning , and the walk along the lagoon to the point where the boats depart to take tourists to the wave is simply magical . Little bath in Tautira
The stunning , unspoiled beach of Tautira is just a few kilometers away, making it the perfect place to admire the beauty of this enchanting setting . And why not enjoy the almost 30-degree water for a relaxing dip under the tropical sun?
The 3 waterfalls and the blowhole
Next, we set off for the east coast and the well-known sites of the 3 waterfalls and the Blowhole , for a true immersion in the richness and natural beauty of the island of Tahiti.
To finish in style, sunset aperitif at Pointe Vénus
Finally, the grand finale of TiTi's Tahiti Tour will be a glass of wine of your choice, courtesy of yours truly , at the remarkable site of Venus Point , the northernmost point of the island of Tahiti. Relaxing on the black sand beach , we'll put the world to rights while marveling at the reddish glow of the sunset behind the sister island of Moorea!
I will then take you back to your holiday destination , after this journey which will certainly leave you with stars in your eyes and unforgettable memories on your smartphones and other cameras.
