Situation
Located in Punaauia, facing the Nordhoff pass, this beach has the particularity of being covered in pebbles in certain seasons while at other times it is black sand that is found there. As for the Nordhoff pass, it is known for its wild beauty and its waves popular with surfers.
Driftwood and surf
Open to the ocean, this beach is often a favorite with driftwood enthusiasts. It's not uncommon to find large quantities of driftwood after periods of heavy rainfall. Surfers will find plenty here, but caution is advised and safety guidelines are followed.
