The long-awaited moment has arrived: the draw to win a TiTi's Tahiti Tour  , the most comprehensive tour of the island of Tahiti. And once again this year, French Polynesia enthusiasts turned out in force, with 1,962 people  registered for their chance to win.

The setting chosen for the event was worthy of the occasion: the magnificent Tahua Motu Ovini park in Faa'a, a green place already featured on the YouTube channel and the Tahiti Pratique website.

With such a setting, all that was missing was a little suspense… and a tortoise.

This draw was already the 7th organized by Tahiti Pratique  since the launch of the operation at the end of 2024.

The heavy responsibility fell to Honu (or Poupette), the famous turtle mascot of Tahiti Pratique .

When contacted live by telephone, our star turtle was asked to choose a number between 1 and 1962.

After a few seconds of reflection that will likely go down in the annals of modern torture, his verdict was delivered:

A figure that has now become legendary.

Or at least in the archives of Tahiti Pratique.

The winner of the draw of September 23, 2026

Once the number was provided by the turtle, all that remained was to consult the list of registered users.

A few clicks later, the verdict was in:

Number 1427 corresponds to "NEMS". 

This person had registered on September 20, 2025  , almost a year before the draw.

This just goes to show that patience sometimes pays off.

More precisely, in the form of a free tour of Tahiti.

NEMS will now receive an email allowing it to choose between:

• • Participate in the TiTi's Tahiti Tour
  • Give the winnings to another person
  • Receive an alternative gift offered by Tahiti Pratique

However, one essential point remains a mystery: is NEMS a man or a woman?

Even the person in charge of the draw still seems to be searching for the answer.

Fortunately, it didn't change the outcome: luck was on his side. And one thing is for sure: Nems will never be devoured by the turtle, even wrapped in a lettuce leaf. There is, after all, a minimum of ethics among the mascots of Tahiti Pratique 🐢🥬😄
