The camp is located at tautira, a small town located on the north coast of Tahiti Iti, the eastern peninsula of the island of Tahiti. The place is surrounded by dense forests, beaches of black sand et end and it is bordered by the Vaitāpiha River. It offers a spectacular view and peaceful setting. I personally had the impression of finding myself in deep forest of South America, on the edges of a arm of the Amazon ! The camp is equipped with a fully stocked communal kitchen . All the necessary utensils are available, allowing you to come to Tautiroots Camp with complete peace of mind, without worrying about forgetting anything. Simply arrive with your food supplies and you can get cooking like a pro. In addition, two barbecues with grills are available for preparing delicious grilled meat or fish . It's best to bring your own charcoal . Please note that cleaning the barbecues is not the responsibility of the guests . Jo, Teura 's husband, will take care of it upon your departure. A refrigerator with electricity and a large freezer ( ice not provided) will keep your food fresh until you're ready to eat.
