Le Tahiti Lagoon Resort Day Pass is one of best options to enjoy a relaxing day in Tahiti. Located in Punaauia, opposite Moorea, the hotel has reopened after several years of closure, completely refreshed et modernizedFrom the moment you enter, the bright lobby, the majestic staircases, and the renovated spaces promise a day of comfort and tranquility. The former Méridien clearly has everything you need. to offer a relaxing break with a capital T, just 15 minutes from the airport.
Of course, Tahiti Pratique went there… in full tropical infiltration mode. We tested the sun loungers, interviewed the palm trees, checked the softness of the cushions, and tasted everything edible. The result: an official report, validated by the Tahiti Pratique turtle, confirming that this Day Pass is definitely worth the trip.

An exceptional, newly renovated setting
The resort reopened in March/April after a long break, and it shows:
- spotless spaces
- neat decoration
- perfectly maintained gardens
- calm and elegant atmosphere
It includes, among other things, a billiard rooma large reception hall, as well as relaxation areas spread around the gardens, a superb swimming pool and direct access to the white sand.

A superb swimming pool and direct access to the beach
The pool at the Tahiti Lagoon Resort is one of the highlights of the Day Pass. Large, clean, surrounded by comfortable sun loungers, it overlooks a white sand beach. I explored this pool from end to end and you can always stand there, a guarantee of safety for weekend swimmers.
The atmosphere is perfect for sunbathing, reading, relaxing or simply enjoying the Polynesian sun.
Finally, for those who have the opportunity, it is worth noting that the setting is even more peaceful. outside of weekends and school holiday periods.

The Day Pass is offered at 6,000 XPF per personthat's a little over €50.
This price includes:

In comparison, some hotels in Tahiti offer higher rates: for example, the Intercontinental's resident Day Pass is at XPF9.
Depending on what you choose at the restaurant, the day usually costs between 8,000 and 10,000 XPF per person.
A magnificent lagoon… sometimes capricious
The Punaauia lagoon is usually one of the calmest in Tahiti.
However, some days may be marked by a strong swell, as sometimes happens in the Society Islands.
In these cases:
- Access to the sea may be temporarily closed
- paddleboards and kayaks can be suspended for safety reasons.
Even in these exceptional conditions (1 to 2 times a year), the setting remains splendid and the swimming pool becomes the focal point of the day.

Lush gardens and bungalows on the water
The gardens of the Tahiti Lagoon Resort are particularly pleasant for walking or relaxing in the shade.
Here we discover:
- flower-lined walkways
- perfectly maintained green spaces

These accommodations lend a unique charm to the site and reinforce the feeling of being in a true little corner of paradise. And, let's be honest, they might just be what you're looking for. make people want to come back for something other than just a Day Pass… the call to return is powerful.
