departure

To take full advantage of all websites that we are going to discover, the departure is set at 7 o'clock. I'll come pick you up. at your place of residence. It is advisable to come with beach serviettes, swimwear, and spare parts because some greatly encourage the bathing. A tropical downpour not being never to be excluded, also remember to bring a waterproof garment. It's better than a umbrella when he does ventOur group will consist of a maximum of 9 people including your servant. This intimate format is I think the most best to build relationships et not to feel suffocated as one can be in a organized trip.

Tamanu Shopping Center in Punaauia

And most importantly, don't worry. We're not going on a big shopping spree, but we still need to think about buying food. The Tamanu shopping center in Punaauia will allow us to find what we need for breakfast and lunch, if you prefer snacks to the restaurant at Maui Beach.

Le Goût Thé at the Tamanu shopping center in Punaauia has become the meeting place for gourmets who love delicious pastries.

Vaiava beach, known as PK 18

And since we now have everything we need for breakfast , how about we go settle the score with him on Tahiti's largest white sand beach , Vaiava Beach , also known as PK 18 Beach? It will only take us five minutes to get there. And if the sun is already scorching , we'll settle down in the shade of large trees and eat in a dreamlike setting , our eyes fixed on the sister island of Moorea , only 16 kilometers away.

The Arahurahu marae

With full stomachs , we'll hit the road again to reach Paea and the Arahurahu marae , the best-preserved archaeological site on the island. There, we'll immerse ourselves in ancestral Polynesian culture and religion .

The Marae Arahurahu in Paea will be a step back into times gone by
Back to the past

The Mara'a Caves

This site, renowned on the west coast, will be our next destination. We will visit the three caves , moving from one to the next along a gravel path , surrounded by lush greenery , the intoxicating scent of tropical flowers , and soothed by the gentle murmur of flowing water . A refreshing break guaranteed!

Papara Market

Much less crowded than its big brother in Papeete, the Papara market is nonetheless a strategic place to do some shopping . Tikis , woven hats and baskets , jewelry of all kinds—you're sure to find the perfect original gift to bring back to mainland France. With the smiles and typically Polynesian welcome of its vendors, this vibrant market, filled with the enchanting scent of tiare flowers, is sure to charm you.

Papara Surf Spot

Well-known to surfers , this spot located in the commune of Papara is also remarkable for its black sand beach lined with coconut palms . We'll enjoy the place while admiring some young specialists , true aquatic acrobats , taming a few waves and swells.

Vaima's source

The Vaima spring in Papeari is a freshwater resurgence that gushes forth at the foot of the mountain, forming a small, refreshingly cool natural pool . Long used by locals to refresh themselves or fill jerrycans, it remains today a simple and authentic spot , surrounded by greenery, that tells the story of everyday Tahiti and the intimate relationship Polynesians have with their water sources. It's also the perfect place to recharge, often overlooked by tourist guides and visitors alike , but not by yours truly.

The water gardens of Vaipahi

The Vaipahi Water Gardens are a little slice of paradise where nature has truly outdone itself. Between sacred pools, refreshing waterfalls, giant ferns, and shaded paths, the place resembles a movie set … but without the special effects. You walk in peace and quiet, breathe easier , and feel as if time slows down just for you.

It's one of the few places in Tahiti where you can go from a jungle atmosphere to a zen-like ambiance in three steps, encounter an eel that seems to judge you, and hear the forest tell its stories. Whether you come to stroll , meditate , take photos , or simply escape the heat , Vaipahi gently welcomes you and sends you away with a smile.

A simple, beautiful, soothing garden and a must-see to understand the true magic of Tahiti.

Ia ora na Titi. A big thank you for this beautiful day and the magnificent tour of the island. There were only two of us, but what a wonderful time we shared with you (even if we made you miss the football match). Mauruuru roa for the little aperitif at the end of the day, very pleasant with the sunset. All the best and perhaps we'll meet again sometime. Nana

Wonderfully organized, this tour of Tahiti is a must-do, with Titi as our guide who truly lives and breathes the island, creating unforgettable moments. We were a family of eight who loved the legends and the sites we visited. The restaurant on Maui Beach was an excellent choice. Bravo and thank you, Titi, for this tour and the finale at Venus Point. It will forever be etched in our memories. Mauruuru. Nana

Françoise

Thank you, Titi, for this magnificent tour of the island, as well as all the legends you shared with us at each site. Thank you also for the wonderful picnic on the Taravao plateau, which you allowed me to revisit, and for the little aperitif to end the day at Pointe Vénus, a place dear to my heart. I wish you much happiness, and you will be my most cherished Polynesian encounter. Nana

The Freds

A wonderful day with Titi. We chose the private tour because my husband is visually impaired and we wanted to have time to explore: Tahiti Nui, Tahiti Iti, the Taravao plateau…
Titi is fascinating, a real wellspring of knowledge about legends, customs, landscapes, history, flowers… and all this in good humor! You have the kindness of the Polynesians, it's no wonder you chose to live here.
Titi was able to adapt the tour, to adapt to us. He even took the opportunity to learn some aids for visual impairment. 😁
An incredible, unforgettable day 😍 Thank you very much 🤙

On Saturday, October 11, we toured Tahiti with TiTi's Tahiti Tour.
A trip in a comfortable van and a guide who takes great care of us.
It's Thierry or Titi, our guide and he is truly perfect! Many explanations about the sites, the flora, the traditions and lots of anecdotes. And at the end of the tour, the small glass of wine on the beach of the point of Venus while watching the sunset on Moorea, that is a pleasure that we will not forget. If we had to do it again, it would be with him again. Too bad we had to part ways... A beautiful person that we would like to see again!

Thierry Lebrat

Ia Orana,
We toured the island on August 19th with Thierry before leaving Polynesia after 7 weeks of visiting four archipelagos. This tour was enchanting, thanks to the knowledge of the country and the kindness of our guide. Luck was with us that day, because there were two of us, the car was super comfortable and it didn't rain! The visits followed one after the other, ending with a glass of wine at Pointe Vénus, a great day!
We highly recommend this tour, which allows you to explore the island in a fun, relaxed, and comfortable way! A great experience that we will remember for a while!

Superb day with Thierry to discover Tahiti Nui, Tahiti Iti, the caves, the waterfalls, Belvédère, Marae, Pointe vénus and its rather subjective church 🤣🤣, the beach in short a day to feast your eyes and listen to legends, each more passionate than the last, told for the "adopted child of fenua 😊
They make you laugh, tell you stories and brighten up your day.
Looking forward to coming back one day to discover his knowledge of flora 😉
I recommend without hesitation ☺️
